The IPM in Essen attracted around 58 000 visitors from more than 90 countries. Many exhibitors express their satisfaction

The IPM Essen, an international horticultural show, came to the end of its four-day run on 28 January 2007 with the mood generally positive, despite a drop in the attendance figures. Around 58 000 visitors were recorded, or about 6.5 per cent fewer than one year previously. In discussions during the event, many exhibitors expressed their satisfaction with the way the fair went, even though registrations indicate that its popularity with visitors was somewhat reduced. A total of 1 400 companies from 42 nations were represented at the show. The proportion of international visitors is given as 27 per cent. These registered guests came from more than 90 different countries of origin.
