Black & Decker sales down

Black & Decker Corporation achieved sales of US $ 6.447 bn in the 2006 financial year, or 1.2 per cent less than the previous year's result. Business in the power tools and accessories segment went down by 2 per cent. The group's net earnings fell by 8.7 per cent to US $ 486 mio in 2006.
