Home Depot is taking over Home Way, a Chinese DIY retail chain, and consequently establishing a presence in the north of the country with twelve stores in six cities. The transaction is expected to be finalised by the end of the year. The official permits are already on hand, though detailed information about the deal have not been made public. With its entry into the Chinese market alongside Canada and Mexico, the world's biggest DIY retailer is now active in three countries.
