New double brand

Under the new double name "Tesa Velcro Brand", Tesa AG of Hamburg and Velcro Europe S.A. of Barcelona intend to offer a high-quality range of products throughout Europe with effect from March 2007. The two companies plan to combine their expertise by providing ideas for hook-and-loop fasteners for everyday applications, from DIY to outdoor uses. In support of their decision they explain that the consumer business, though not so far comprehensively exploited, promises both partners access to new markets and additional sales growth.
