Laminate flooring to become more expensive

The European Producers of Laminate Flooring are working from the assumption that prices for laminate flooring will rise by five to eight per cent

That end-consumer prices for laminate flooring are going to rise by five to eight per cent is the conclusion reached by the European Producers of Laminate Flooring from their market investigations. Behind this development are the increasing costs of raw materials, which are forcing the producers to pass them on to the distributive trade. As the press announcement also says, it is not only the price of MDF sheets, paper, resin and glue that has risen, but that of energy and transport as well. Added to this come the costs for licence agreements, which now cover all regions.
