Rona releases quarterly figures

Third-quarter retail sales by Rona (Canada) were up by 17.4 per cent to Can $ 977.68 mio (€ 671.35 mio). The growth in like-for-like sales was 0.1 per cent. Operating profits (EBITDA) rose by 11.1 per cent to Can $ 90.33 mio (€ 60.03 mio). Rona’s sales for the first nine months increased by 15.6 per cent to Can $ 4.278 bn (€ 2.938 bn) and EBITDA rose by 16.1 per cent to Can $ 241.46 mio (€ 165.81 mio).
