Group increases sales

The Hagebau Group (Germany) saw its sales rise by 8.7 per cent to € 2.812 bn in the first nine months of 2006. The cooperative, which had 1 111 affiliated stores in Germany, Austria and Hungary at the end of September, expects an increase of at least six per cent in sales for fiscal 2006 as a whole. In Germany Hagebau’s total revenue inclusive of all holdings rose by 9.4 per cent in the first nine months to € 2.525 bn, while DIY sales in the Hagebau stores increased by 2.2 per cent.
