Green giant

The two Dutch plant distributors Flora Holland and Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer are planning a merger, which is expected to be completed by 1st January 2008. In 2005 Flora Holland had sales of around € 2.005 bn, while Bloemenveiling Aalsmeer achieved a sales volume of € 1.690 bn. The new company is expected to trade under the name Flora Holland in combination with the previous Aalsmeer logo.
