In appreciation of innovative capacity

Bosch's Power Tools division has been awarded the "Excellence in Innovation" prize for suppliers by the British B&Q chain. A press release from Bosch explains that the retail group has made the award in acknowledgment of the tool manufacturer's innovative capacity, particularly in terms of the development and introduction on the market of tools powered by lithium-ion storage batteries. The "Ixo" cordless driver has apparently become the world's best-selling power tool since it was launched in autumn 2003
