Happy French

Around 95 per cent of the French are satisfied with their homes, and 61 per cent even declare that they are very satisfied. These results come from a survey carried out by Artemice for the Agence nationale de l'Habitat. Top of the French list of requirements for the home is good heat insulation (71 per cent). Also important are good sound insulation (58 per cent), the installation of solar panels (54 per cent) and water-saving equipment (52 per cent).
