B&Q has brought solar panels and wind turbines into its product assortment, along with a range of other energy-efficient lines. The British market leader is making this move in order to provide support for consumers' increasing environmental awareness. The wind turbines are designed for installation on the roof and deliver 230V electricity directly into the household wiring without the need for batteries or complex wiring. Both the wind turbines and solar panels for heating water will be available in B&Q's larger stores.
