There is again a greater demand for windows in the east

The window market in eastern Europe has been on course for recovery since 2004. Sales in 2005 came to 18.8 mio window units, which is 4.7 per cent more than the previous year. The latest survey by the Interconnection Consulting Group reveals that the volume of sales amounted to € 1.3 bn. The market researchers foresee a continuation of this growing potential in the countries surveyed, Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Hungary, in the future as well. For the next three years the forecast is for annual sales growth of 5.5 per cent.
