Rona on a buying spree

Rona has taken over Mountain Building Centers with the aim of further expanding its presence in British Columbia. The newly acquired company consists of three stores and achieved sales of C $ 22 mio (€ 15 mio) in 2005. This is the Rona group's fourth acquisition this year following Curtis Lumber, Matériaux Coupal and Chester Dawe. Taken together, these transactions have brought the company a sales volume in excess of C $ 306 mio (€ 252 mio).
