Green figures from Switzerland

In Switzerland there are around 2 750 retail businesses selling plants and appropriate related products. Around 670 dealers work as horticultural retailers in the narrower sense, with about 150 businesses describing themselves as garden centres and about 520 as plant nurseries. These figures emerge from a press release in the run-up to the Green Retail Forum on 21 September 2006, which three horticultural trade associations are inviting all those interested to attend.
