David Wei is leaving B&Q China after six years

David Wei, president of B&Q China, is leaving the company at the end of the year after six years with the group. He will be succeeded by Mariusz Gliwinski, who was previously in charge of B&Q Taiwan and, prior to that, managed the Nomi stores in Poland, which were part of the Kingfisher group until a few years ago.
Steve Gilman will continue to be responsible for all Asian operations as managing director of B&Q Asia. These include activities in China, Taiwan and South Korea, as well as Koçta? in Turkey. Having been with the company since the opening of the first B&Q store in Asia (1996 in Taiwan), Mr Gilman's presence there guarantees a high level of continuity.
