The London DIY & Garden Show/Totally Tools, which has had a new organiser this year in the shape of Brintex, is being offered support by UK trade organisations on both the manufacturing and commercial sides. The British Hardware and Housewares Manufacturers' Association (BHHMA) has confirmed its official support and intends to promote the show not only among its members but also on an international level within the framework of the umbrella association, Fediyma. The organiser has also for the first time succeeded in getting a trading body, the British Hardware Federation (BHF), to lend support to the show and confirm its participation. The Federation has a membership of no less than 2 500. Bookings have already been made for 67 per cent of the exhibition space at the coming event, which is due to be held at Earls Court from 14 to 16 January 2007.
