Asia's biggest hardware fair

There will be 1 600 companies from 15 countries filling a space of 70 000 m² at the Shanghai New International Expo within the context of the China International Hardware Show Powered by Practical World from 27 to 29 September. It is Asia's most significant trade fair for tools, security systems, locks + fittings, building and DIY products, and gardening as well. The organisers, China National Hardware Association and Koelnmesse, are expecting around 35 000 visitors this year. The most important countries in terms of visitor numbers include the USA and Canada, Germany, Japan, Britain and Italy. The 49th World Hardware Convention is also due to take place in Shanghai at almost exactly the same time, from 24 to 28 September 2006.
