CE standard for laminate flooring

The Technical Committee of the Association of European Producers of Laminate Flooring (EPLF) has announced that the CE marking for laminate flooring will become effective as EN 14041 as of 1 January 2007. According to the press report, the purpose behind this European harmonisation standard for flexible coverings, textile and laminate flooring is to guarantee a minimum standard of environmental compatibility and product reliability for laminate flooring throughout Europe.
