New board members

On 16 June 2006 three new members were elected to the executive board of EMD AG, the buying and marketing organisation, at its annual general meeting in Stresa, Italy. They are Nikolaus Knüsel, CEO of Markant AG in Germany and Switzerland, Renaud Cogels, CEO of Group Delhaize Europe, which is represented in Belgium, Luxembourg, Greece, Romania and Czechia, and Sergio Papin, CEO of Système-U in France, who was also elected as one of the boards's three vice-presidents.
