New advisory board chairman

Walter Elbe, 61, a certified engineer, is the new chairman of Hagebau Austria's advisory board. He succeeds Paul Gasser, who held the position for eleven years. Mr Elbe, who is managing director of C. Bergmann of Traun, Upper Austria, has been a member of the advisory board ever since Hagebau Austria was founded. He was elected to the chair on 24 June 2006. In 1994 C. Bergmann was the only foreign member of Hagebau Germany. In March 1995 the company had a decisive share in the founding of Hagebau Austria, together with 18 operationally active members.
