Strong growth rates

Following last year's sales losses, ZG Raiffeisen announced an increase for its Raiffeisen stores in the first five months of 2006

Last year ZG Raiffeisen of Karlsruhe had a sales loss of 1.1 per cent to chalk up in its Raiffeisenmarkt division in like-for-like terms. As announced at the cooperative's results presentation, it has been possible to stabilise the profit situation on the previous year's level by means of an altered assortment policy. In the building materials division the group saw sales grow by 0.7 per cent to € 130 mio. It has announced growth rates that are strong in the Raiffeisenmarkt division and slight on the builders' merchant side for the first five months of the current year.
