Wolf-Garten of Betzdorf, Germany, has announced changes in its management team. As of 1 July 2006, Wolfgang Wiebe, 50, will take over as international sales manager in charge of foreign companies with responsibility for export business. Also as of July, Jürgen Herrmann, 33, will be running product management and strategic buying. The two business school graduates were previously employed by Inter-Union, a service company in the area of DIY product ranges.
These personnel changes are linked to the growth targets of the garden products supplier, which the company intends to reach through reinforcing the brand name, innovative products and "strong growth of business abroad", in the words of managing director Jürgen Hörmann as quoted in a press release. The company currently sells its products in 26 European countries and ten other countries outside Europe.
