Dolmar, a manufacturer of powered tools for use in forestry, horticulture and construction, ended the 2005/06 financial year (to 31 March 2006) with sales up by 16 per cent to € 108.6 mio. Apart from the internal market, it was above all the company's cooperation with new distribution partners in the USA that influenced growth so strongly, though Dolmar also achieved "gratifying rates of growth" in France, England and Italy, according to a press release. Pre-tax profits were down by just on ten per cent to € 4.2 mio as a consequence of the start-up costs in the USA and strong investment in the development of new, low-emission products.
