GS1 Europe is to stage the first European conference on the subject of RFID in Düsseldorf from 6 – 8 September 2006 in close cooperation with EPCglobal. The event is oriented towards all European companies that can see new possibilities and sales opportunities in the technology and want to learn more about potential applications, trends, experiences and solutions. The programme consists of lectures and workshops and other events. Users from a variety of different sectors will present current projects, developments and assessments. GS1 is the leading international organisation for the development and implementation of international standards. ECPglobal is a non-profit organisation that develops and introduces economic and technical standards for the electronic product code.
