Power tool sales up

The Bosch Power Tools division is continuing to grow. Sales of power tools, accessories and garden tools rose by 6 per cent to € 2.7 bn in constant currency over the recently completed financial year. Bosch achieves 89 per cent of sales abroad. Production was further expanded internationally in order to keep up with demand. As a result, even Bosch products, especially those for DIYers, now increasingly tend to come from abroad, from China and Hungary to be exact. The number of employees within the division in 2005 remained constant in a year-on-year comparison at around 14 000.
