The Danish DT Group expects sales growth of 10 per cent for the 2005 financial year

DT Group is the new name under which the Danish builders' merchant and DIY retail group, Danske Trælast, has been operating since 1 February 2006. The group expects sales growth of 10 per cent to DKK 17.5 bn (€ 2.35 bn) for the financial year. At company headquarters in Søborg it is being assumed that the EBITDA will show a rise of 13.5 per cent to DKK 1.230 bn (€ 164.8 mio). The group is active in the north European market, where it has more than 250 locations. They include the builders' merchant companies Stark (Denmark), Beijer Byggmaterial (Sweden), Neumann Bygg (Norway) and Starkki (Finland), whose proportion of retail customers comes to between 30 and 60 per cent, along with the DIY retail chains Silvan (Denmark and Sweden) and Cheapy (Sweden). The group's wholesale activities in Denmark, Norway and Sweden must also be added to complete the picture.
