The latest World DIY Market Report from Fediyma (Federation of European DIY Manufacturers' Associations) reveals that the DIY market worldwide achieved gross sales of € 395.5 bn in 2004. North America and Europe together make up 90 per cent of the world market, although these two continents account for only 20 per cent of the world's population. The DIY sales of the two continents jointly amount to € 354.6 bn.
