Exports of ceramic sanitaryware from China will see double-digit growth in 2006, according to the latest report issued by Global Sources under the title of China Sourcing Report: Ceramic Sanitaryware. More than 40 per cent of the 54 Chinese manufacturers of ceramic sanitaryware questioned for the survey expect export sales to grow by over 20 per cent in the next 12 months. An additional 30 per cent foresee growth rates of between 10 and 20 per cent. The manufacturers are optimistic that export business will remain strong, despite higher prices for their products caused by the rising cost of raw materials. The majority of suppliers are concentrating on boosting OEM business, in the EU and US above all; they offer a great choice of low-cost ceramic toilets, bidets and urinals, washbasins and bathtubs. The report also mentions that an increasing number of suppliers now manufacture in ISO-certified facilities and conform to international standards such as UPC, CS, KS and SAI.Exports of ceramic sanitaryware from China will see double-digit growth in 2006, according to the latest report issued by Global Sources under the title of China Sourcing Report: Ceramic Sanitaryware.
