Home Depot in China soon?

As Home Depot announced back in 2004, it intends to become active in China. According to a report in the Financial Times, the company is now involved in negotiations with Orient Home, one of the biggest DIY store operators in China. A sum in excess of US $ 200 mio is being discussed for the acquisition of a 49 per cent stake.
