CELQ awards 30 quality marks

The year 2005 saw the awarding by CELQ (Certified European Laminate Quality) of Bielefeld, Germany, of more than 30 quality marks for laminate flooring. The latest companies to receive the award are Alloc AS (N), Kaindl Flooring (A), Kronospan (CH), Meister Werke Schulte (D), Parador (D), Pergo (S) and Witex (D). While each product was individually tested initially, manufacturers are now awarded the quality mark for their entire flooring package. This makes it possible to carry out the certification procedure more quickly and efficiently. CELQ claims to stand for certified product quality and to provide a guideline for consumers and the trade.
