More visitors from abroad

Christmasworld came to an end on 28 January after its five-day run in Frankfurt/Main with visitor figures up slightly. According to information from Messe Frankfurt, about 30 400 visitors came to the fair to find out more about the trends for Christmas 2006 and other events celebrated in the course of the year. The multi-fair event comprising Christmasworld, Paperworld and Beautyworld registered strong growth, mainly from abroad (plus 15 per cent), and especially from Europe. The total of 1 099 exhibitors (2.3 per cent up) came from 39 different countries.
