Double-digit growth

The Würth Group has concluded 2005 with a new record operating result. The company, which is a global leader in connecting and assembly technology with headquarters in Künzelsau, Germany, has increased its turnover as per the previous year's financial statement by 11.1 per cent to € 6.89 bn. Organic growth after adjustment for exchange rates and acquisitions amounted to 8.3 per cent. Würth was also able to expand on the German market, where sales were up by 9.6 per cent to € 2.77 bn. Today Würth has a total of 50 767 employees worldwide.
