Wooden floors in demand

The latest market report issued by AMA Research reveals that the UK market for wooden flooring, including laminate, grew by almost 200 per cent to £ 380 mio between 1998 and 2004. The market researchers are also forecasting further growth until 2008, which will however proceed more slowly because of the increasing market saturation, but will eventually exceed the £ 470 mio mark. The share of the entire UK flooring market claimed by wooden floors came to 18.1 per cent in 2004.
