Hagebau in Hungary

Hagebau has revealed details of the Hungarian company that has joined Hagebau Austria. Tüzepker AB, based in Pécs, enters the cooperative on 1 January 2006. The company is active in the building materials trade and has 19 outlets throughout Hungary. Together with its wholly owned subsidiary Dutker Baumaterial Groß- und Einzelhandel GmbH, with a store in Kecskemet, it will contribute € 26.6 mio to the cooperative. The Hungarian retail group Konzum, Pécs, has a 64 per cent holding in Tüzepker, which has annual sales of € 16.7 mio. In 2004 Dutker achieved sales of € 9.9 mio.
