DIY stores in Europe: key figures

The greatest number of DIY stores over 400 m² in size is recorded in Germany at 4 183, followed by France (3 054) and Great Britain with Northern Ireland (1 889). The highest DIY store density is to be found in Norway, where there are 6 132 inhabitants per store, the lowest in Turkey, where there are approx. 2.3 mio inhabitants to one DIY store.
