Metro is currently looking into a variety of strategic options for Praktiker. As well as the possibility of a sale, these include officially quoting the majority of the share capital on the stock exchange, and retaining it within the group. As the company explains in a press release, these provisional key figures for the first nine months have been published ahead of time for Praktiker on account of the ongoing assessment. No decision has been taken yet in favour of any one of the options.
