Growth of building trade fair in Canton

CBD 2006, the 8th international trade fair for building, interior work and decoration, will be held in Canton, Guangzhou, from 6 to 9 July 2006. This year the CBD fair offered a total of 1 867 exhibitors who presented themselves to the 64 500 trade visitors on a show space of 120 000 m². The CBD was again able to report growth in all sectors, which the organisers see as confirmation of its positioning as the biggest building trade fair in Asia. The show space will be expanded to 130 000 m² in 2006. The organisers are expecting more than 2 000 exhibitors to attend the event. European companies again have an opportunity to participate in one of the Europa pavilions organised by Merebo (www.cbd.merebo.com).
