Praktiker's growth in eastern Europe

Within just four days Praktiker manages to strengthen its presence in Poland and Bulgaria. On Saturday 15 October came the official opening of the group's third store in Warsaw, an outlet approx. 10 400 m² in size. This is at the same time the group's 17th branch in Poland. A further new opening is to follow on Tuesday 18 October, this time in Sofia. The store has a retail area of almost 7 000 m², with a garden store accounting for 1 370 m² of the total. This means that a good twelve months after entering the market, the network of branches in Bulgaria has expanded to four. The number of Praktiker stores abroad has increased to 67 overall.
