The French DIY retail group Bricorama has announced sales of € 305.78 mio for the first six months of 2005. This amounts to growth of 2.2 per cent over the corresponding period last year. Net earnings rose by 3.4 per cent to € 9.15 mio. The group expects sales to be up by 3.5 per cent for this full year. The Bricorama group consists of 167 DIY stores (80 centrally-operated stores in France, 54 in Benelux, one in Spain and 32 franchised outlets) with a combined sales area of 498 000 m².
