Replacements on the board

AVA of Bielefeld has reshuffled its executive board with effect from 1 October 2005. Helmut Metje, the previous ceo, has been appointed chairman, and Michael Rübel, previously managing director of the AVA subsidiary Marktkauf with responsibility for the DIY division, has been appointed to the board with the distribution portfolio. Gerhard Peter is the new human resources director, and Nicolas Raffard takes on responsibility for finance. Helmut Hörz, who has been responsible for buying since September 2004, has left the executive board to move to the supervisory board. Buying is being added to Metje's area of responsibility.
