New logistics centre for Hornbach

Hornbach opened its third logistics centre at Vilshofen, Pleinting, on 7 October. The company has invested more than € 15 mio in the project. The logistics centre fulfils a double function. On the one hand it provides storage for imported and seasonal goods. 0n the other, deliveries are made from this central entrepôt to around 35 locations in Bavaria, Saxony, Baden-Württemberg, Austria, Czechia and Slovakia. In addition, the company's largest Czech DIY and garden superstore was inaugurated on 7 October as well. The outlet is located at Hradec Kralóvé and is 20 000 m² in size.
