Praktiker goes to Ukraine

Praktiker is planning to break into the market of the Ukrainian market in the year 2006. The first location is envisaged for the capital, Kiev. Up to seven DIY and builders' stores are to be established in the country within two years. According to information supplied by the company itself, the German DIY store operator will be going for a broad range of building and renovating products, with a special emphasis on the plumbing and sanitary sector.
