Increase for Baumax

Baumax, the market leader in Austria, has announced an overall sales gain of 6.4 per cent for the first six months of 2005. Since sales results for the first half of 2004 amounted to € 473.9 mio, gross sales for this half-year should work out at € 504.2 mio. The company reveals sales growth of 4.3 per cent for Austria (sales in same period last year: € 259.2 mio) and an increase of 9 per cent for the locations in central and eastern Europe (sales in same period last year: € 214.6 mio).
