Who is the European DIY customer?

12.09.2005

This question is answered by a new Fediyma study, which will be presented at the Brussels forum

Where does the European DIY customer make its purchases, what significance does he attach to brand names, and how important is the price to him? The answers to these and other questions are to be found in the new consumer survey from Fediyma, which was carried out among 7 500 consumers in ten European countries. It reveals that 60 per cent make price comparisons, 10 per cent go for the lowest price and 57 per cent are prepared to spend more. The main results of this survey will be presented during the Fediyma Forum, which is being held in Brussels on 21 and 22 September. A copy of the full survey is included in the fee for the event and will be distributed to delegates at the Forum. Further information about the Forum at www.fediyma.com.
