Innovations recognized

Awards went to the best new products in the barbecue and garden furniture categories at Spoga. In the “Grill & barbecue” category, 15 suppliers from eight countries in all participated in the Innovation Forum. The top spot in the grill category went to Cadac Europe of Duiven (Netherlands) with its charcoal grill in a revolutionary “trilobal” or rounded triangular shape, according to the expert jury. First prize in the accessories category was taken by LME Products, Otterup (Denmark) for its Quick Grill briquettes made from pressed coconut shells that are ready for use in one minute.
16 garden furniture suppliers from six countries participated in the “Garden City” Innovation Forum. Two first prizes were awarded, to Garden Impressions of Swifterbant (Netherlands) for its freely positionable and 360o rotatable Hawaii sunshade and to MD Creativ, Badbergen (Germany) for garden furniture elements that have no screw connections.
