In spite of aisles that were only moderately full on the first day of the show, many exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the visitor interest at Spoga

The first two days of Spoga produced mixed impressions. The fair opened in Cologne on 4 September and ended on 6 September. Although visitor figures on the first day of the show were estimated to be rather low by many exhibitors, companies spoke of the high level of interest shown by visitors and buyers and of very useful discussions. One initial impression was of an air of satisfaction among outdoor furniture suppliers, for example. Some also mentioned an increased proportion of foreign visitors to their stands. The exhibition halls appeared livelier on the following day. This year’s Spoga is taking place for the first time without Gafa, which has previously always been held at the same time.
