Hornbach director Rob resigns

Bernd Rob, the director of stores, store organisation and personnel at Hornbach-Baumarkt AG, is relinquishing his responsibilities on 30 September 2005 and leaving the DIY chain. His duties will be taken over by other board members. Thanks to the high level of integration of branch organisations achieved with the introduction of modern information and control systems, says the company, it is no longer necessary to appoint a successor to fill this position.
