The market for windows in central and east Europe experienced a rise of 2.6 per cent last year

In 2004 the window market in the central and east European countries of Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia and Slovenia showed signs of recovery for the first time in four years. The quantity of windows sold increased by 2.6 per cent in comparison with 2003 for a total of 8.4 mio units. It emerges from a current study by Interconnection Consulting Group that the growth in volume terms was even stronger at 3.1 per cent.
