Wickes invests in Bexhill

Wickes, the UK DIY chain, is due to open a DIY store approx. 3 000 m² in size at Bexhill on 20 August. Investment in the new store comes to £ 1.5 mio (€ 2.2 mio). It will offer a wide range of own-brand products, as well as kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and conservatories. Design consultants will be on hand to help customers plan their projects. Currently Wickes operates 172 stores in the UK, and 28 more are to be added by 2007.
