Naming of new managing director

As of September, Thomas Marx, 38, will take over the conduct of Baumax business in Slovakia as managing director, replacing Ludwig Soukup in the position. Thomas Marx began his career at Baumax in 1989, and has been director of sales for the stores in Austria since late 2001. In his new position he will have responsibility for expansion and also for the group's further positioning in the Slovakian DIY and building market.
